Part One: Initial Consultation
When we first spoke with the homeowner, the guest bathroom was showing its age; faded yellow walls, a ceiling damaged by past moisture issues, and a tub surround that offered no storage and even less style. The vanity and flooring were dated and doing nothing for the room.
The goal was to completely reimagine the space: bright, modern, and easy to maintain, with better storage and a layout that made the room feel larger than it actually was, all without a full-scale budget.

Part Two: The Design, Planning, Permitting
We started with the problems that couldn’t be painted over. From there, the plan centered on the tub surround.
The water-damaged ceiling needed to be repaired before anything else could go in, so that came first.
We built in custom recessed niches for storage and wrapped the shower window in a decorative accent tile to give the room a clear focal point. A navy shaker vanity with a quartz countertop and a large framed mirror was brought in to anchor the opposite end of the room and help bounce light around the space.
Every material was chosen to work together: warm luxury vinyl plank flooring, marble-look porcelain tile, and brushed nickel fixtures, so the finished room reads as one cohesive, upscale design rather than a collection of upgrades.
Part Three: The Time Schedule
They were new homeowners on a fix budget, so they didn’t know anything about remodeling. But we made sure everything was clear and transparent at all times, including the schedule.
Week 1
